can't retrieve information from a database!! help : (

 hey guys, Im creating a search bar using php and heidisql.. i have created my tables but I Can't retrieve from the database, It just returns a blank page... anybody plz helllp

Perhaps you could explain all the things that happened between "i have created my tables" and "just returns a blank page". Noone will be able to help you, with such a lousy error description, guy. |

also, this question is several meters off-topic. IMHO, this forum serves to discuss the idiosyncrasies of a particular database access tool; when the mood is right, simple to intermediate MySQL-related questions are answered as well. this is, however, NOT a forum on "how to learn programming in php: accessing a database" (and sometimes using heidisql in the process). i use and know php; the type of problem ineptly delineated here seems to indicate to me "just starting to learn php". well, good luck with that, but buy a book and/or seek elsewhere for this. |
