Can anyone help me with Error 2003 Can't connect to MySQL server on 127.0.0.1 It also asks for a User name and Password on the Session manager. I am trying to use a DoL database for DAoC. I am following the instructions found on this website. http://www.dolserver.net/articles/?article=2 Can anyone help me out? |

the mysql database server rejects your attempt to connect, possible because of missing username and password. when you install mysql, its installer will ask you for a "root password". use "root" as User name for db access in heidi, and the Password you chose in the installer. |
