It's just simple working sets of objects.
Think of it as a group of favorites.
As we often find our self working among tons of tables, views.. It is very practical to isolate only those objects that are needed for issue at hand.
It boils down to simple actions:
1. create group (folder, set)
2. right click or drag object (table/view..) to that group
Saving groups for another time would be great but not necessary.
One could then create groups like "Frikin bug 0706" or "New feature" ...
1 feature missing to make HeidiSQL a killer app - work sets
one vote + for that.
The easist way would be:
1. create dropdovn with like 5 predefined groups named 1,2,3,4,5
2. right click on table, add to group, open that dropdowwn, click.
and then something like that:
options/tree wiew/bring group x to top
--> that would override default alphabet sorting in treeview
bringing desired group objects to top, all the rest sorted as usualy.

A pic of my idea (extra db node at top of tree view):

And then somewhere options/ max nodes in 'last opened objects' db.
