Hello devs, and thanks for this wonderfull software.

I have a question about usage.
How does the "Export Database as SQL" feature work? Could I access it directly? Because I want to add this to the windows task schedule to make regular backups.

Is there a HeidiSQL advanced feature manual?

Thanks again.

No, you cannot control HeidiSQL's export dialog from outside. There are, however, some command line parameters which are documented in the readme.txt (Help > readme). And I don't have a feature manual. I am always for intuitive GUI behaviour without the need to explain more than necessary. But feel free to write something, I can probably add some chm file or so to the installer :)

if you want sql export from the command line, try mysqldump, part of the freely available mysql server package (ie found in its bin/ directory).
