Hey guys i need help on the SQL error 2003  Network type:MySQL (TCP/IP) Hostname/IP:My Hamachi IP User:root Password:ascent(already tryed others) Port:3307 pls i need help with this  |

talk to the provider who runs your mysql server. - is the password for user root correct ? - is there any particular reason why to use port 3307 ? standard is port 3306. |

1: a mysql database server must be running somewhere so that you can use it with mysql. -if the server is running on your own computer, you must have set a passwort for root when installing mysql; -if the server is running on someone else´s computer, then the person who adminstrates that computer is your databse provider; ask him/her. 2: no. the password is configured in the mysql server for the user named "root", you must find out what it is. |

iam not an expert so i dont understand so i dindt understand a few parts sorry.but yh its running on my PC. i just wanted to do a server public by hamachi but erros stopped me |

if i understand you correctly, you are trying to setup a public hamachi server, and want to do something with a mysql database related to it. i do not know hamachi, and have no idea wether a mysql server is included in its client software (and thus is really running on your computer - you should see a process named mysqld then), or wether it accesses some central server. consult the hamachi documentation, or forums on using hamachi, for this. there you should also find info on how to connect to that database server. |

no. it´s not your router password, its not your phone number, and its not your mother´s maiden name. the password is in the configuration of the mysql server that hamachi is talking to. find out which server this is, and get it from there. i do not know it, and i cannot find it out. if you cannot find out the password by yourself, than whatever you want to do can not be done. |

as an afterthought: your question "is it my router pass" seems to indicate to me, that you have very little idea of what you are doing, and/or very little knowledge of the components involved (mysql server, hamachi). I suggest: - open google.com, and input "hamachi mysql" as the search terms (without the "). You will get around 550000 results; read the top 50 or 100, and see wether this tells you something about your problem. Note: this is NOT a joke, but only what i myself do when confronted with an unknown situation. - buy a book on mysql, and learn about "what is a database server", "how do i configure a mysql server (espec user accounts)". Also note: this here is a forum to support a particular piece of software, ie the mysql client "heidisql". the question how to generally access or configure database servers, or how to access the one that you want to use, is NOT a support question for heidisql and thus is misplaced in this forum. this is also not a forum on how to learn to use a mysql server, and also not a forum on how to learn to use other software (hamachi) that may or may not use mysql. SEEK ELSEWHERE. I suggest you stop posting here; I will not talk to you again. |

Well I too have the impression you're not really helping yourself. All your comments read as if you did not dive into the problem at all. Be honest, how many seconds did you take to follow jfalch's hints, and how long did you try to find something on the net, at Google or on the Hamachi pages, was it 10 or 30 seconds? I just typed "mysql hamachi 2003" into Google and found very helpful hints in the very first results, so that's why I think you did not look at all. |

i found things too and nothing could help me because i got another error that is (1045).... and hamachi site has nothing about MySQL
