Can HeidiSQL connet to Microsoft LocalDB?

This has already been discussed under http://www.heidisql.com/forum.php?t=12829 but with no definitive response. Can HeidiSQL connect to Microsoft LocalDB via NamedPipes? If so what is the Syntax?

I tried
- (localdb)\v11.0
- np:\\.\pipe\LOCALDB#4487DC2D\tsql\query

I can connect to the instance via sqlcmd and via SQL Server Management Studio Express
