Can"t Connect to Server MySQL problem

Hello,

I have a Private Server for a game, and the default IP is 127.0.0.1 but when I change it to my IP it says the following:

Error

SQL Error (2003) in statement#0: Can't connect to MySQL Server on '78.20.67.68' (10061)

port: 3306 (with other IP's it works.. but with my own one not)

I highly guess your server with the IP 78.20.67.68 does not run a MySQL server. It's probably just not started, or you can't connect due to firewall blockings.

My firewall is turned off. How you mean does not run? How can I run it??

I meant you probably did not start the MySQL service on the computer with the IP 78.20.67.68.

But I probably misread your question. Is that the external IP of your local computer or what?

a) 78.20.67.68 = 78-20-67-68.access.telenet.be .. looks like an internet provider to me.

b) Problems748: if you know so little, buy a book (eg this one) and read it; this is not a forum for raw database beginners. also, learn english; what you write is barely understandable.

what you need is of no concern to me. if you wish to get help (for a question that is off topic in this form), write so that people can understand you, or you will get no help. it´s that simple.
