on pressing return, heidiSql closes it self

First, Sorry for my English. When I change the value of a field in a table (in this case the value is an integer) when I press return to change field, the program just closes.

Before upgrading, the program did not closed.

Thanks. Very weird, never saw or heard that before. Can you please post any detail which could be of help here, for example OS, version, etc. Also, please report which version worked for you, as you said that before upgrading it worked.

My Os is Windows XP service pack 3, now, I'm working with HeidiSQL 8.2.0.4675 version, which does not give me that error.

I can also say, I've tried to do the same with the 4677 version and I get the same problem.

Since I have updated to 8.3 version, I've got the same problem. When editing the value of a cell and press ENTER key the program stops immediatly.

When editing a row the program closes unexpectedly while trying to update the record.
The problem started a while back (latest versions of 8.2 I think). My solution was to downgrade to an earlier version. But when I saw that 8.3 was released I updated. Now I'm using version 8.3 (4701) but the problem still exists. After editing a couple of records the program crashes.

Same issue here even after updating to 8.3.0.4714 on XP SP3.

While editing a cell value in a results window if I press ENTER it closes immediately. If I edit a cell value but then click to a different row using the mouse it performs the DB update successfully. This happens on varchar, text, tinyint(1), but does not happen on datetime
field.
