wrong characters

Hello, I am trying to read a MS SQL server and in a table some columns can read ok the greek charactes and in other column the greek characters are like ????? can anyone help me?

as I checked the problem is that when the column is text, when the column is varchar is ok, whats the problem when it is text?

If I recall it right you need to use NTEXT and NVARCHAR when columns shall contain characters other than Latin1-based.

Hello, again, I dont know and I cannt understand what changed, but all tables now doesnt show greek character, I also installed a new database and still I cannt read gree. In the view tables I can read greek but when I copy the data from the view table to the table I cannt read them. any ideas? Its MS SQL server express 2005
