[Feature Request] Autocomplete column names on table filter

It would be handy if when filtering on the 'Data' tab for a table that it would autocomplete column names.

That's already the case! You just need to trigger it using Ctrl+Space.

Ah ha! I have a global shortcut for Ctrl + space for a launcher app.

Is there any way to set the autocomplete to automatically appear? Having it only appear on a Ctrl + space kind of takes the auto out of autocomplete...

No, that's currently not possible I'm afraid.
