Establishing User ID and Passwords....

I am weening myself off Godaddy and phpmyadmin and came across Heidisql. I am running a dedicated server for about 40 websites. In my previous configuration I would use a wysiwyg interface called PLESK. Using PLESK I would go to a domain, then once I had chosen a domain I could either create or open an existing database. IF I chose to create a database then I would be required to add at least one user and password. This user name and password would then be used in my sql connection string in my asp pages. My question for this forum is how do I specify this in heidiSQL? I was able to succesfully take a backed up database in the form of a .sql file and import it into my localhost. Thanks for you help. You have established a connection using HeidiSQL? So you already specified user + password, didn't you?

Thank you for taking the time to help. What is confusing to me is the following. On my server I am hosting about 40 websites, about 10 of which have mysql databases. On my previous hosting configuration every time I created a new database (using a wysiwyg called Plesk) I was required to set up a database "client" if you will, wiht a user id and password. So essentially if I had 10 mysql databases I had ten user ids and ten passwords. Then in the source code (ASP) of my websites I would specify a connection string and would put in the relative user id and password. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for your help. Tom
