To reproduce:
1) Open Heidi SQL with a SQL Connection (named pipe), e.g. .\SQLEXPRESS
2) Select a table and go into "Data" view
3) Delete the database and recreate it (e.g. in SQL Management Studio), use close existing connections
4) Try to access data again
5) Error
Depending on the circumstances Heidi either crashes fully, shows an error dialog that can be fixed with reconnecting or it works without error.
The scenario might seem weird but we encounter this a LOT when doing integration testing. We often regenerate the whole database, and therefore delete it and recreate it with the correct data. We use Heidi to look at the data.
Our desired behavior would be that if Heidi detects that the connection has been closed, it tries to open recreate another one.
Would that be possible?
