Table filter - text goes under icon - really irritating

Please can you fix this layout bug. It goes at least 6 months back but I have not reported it until now. See attachment and screenshot.

Whole text in table filter is: "field_root;profile_root;setting;record_root; "

I just tested that - when I paste a long text, the text is somehow centered under both icons. Is that what you mean? If yes, that is caused by the right icon being invisible when the box is empty, and gets visible if it gets some text. I could make the right icon permanently visible, but disabled/greyed when the box is empty.

When you use keyboard arrows than cursor goes behind left icon and you cannot see where it is so you can't edit the text inside. I use that often to edit regex in table filter. Please look at the GIF I posted.

Would it be possible to edit table filter in a bigger field? When I click on left icon there is a menu that has a histiry of regex and Clear button. You could put here Edit button so I can view my whole regex - like a textarea edit with word wrap. I know, my table filter is small because my left pane is small. Could there be an option to put database filter full width in left pane and table filter in new row also full width?

When I use the left arrow key I can't put the cursor under the left icon. The text gets moved to the right instead. This is a standard Delphi/Windows control, which should behave the same on same Windows versions. I'm on Win7 here, and you?

I'm on windows 8.1 x64. Heidi 9.3 x64 Portable - Revision 5089. See my gif again. I am inputin numbers 123456789. You can see how number 1 and 2 are behind left icon.

The numbers are of course behind the icon, since the box leaves space to write on the right side.

But yes, the cursor is also behind the icon, but that seems to be a Windows/Delphi issue. I don't see a chance to fix that.
