Very slow sync

I have a local DB which i need to sync 3 tables to a remote server which is the 'live', each table is about 4000 rows.

My previous tool used to take seconds to sync (windows) but I have since moved to linux and now using Heidi and its taking a VERY long time.

Are there settings that need changing that speeds up syncing? as its been 10 mins and only done around 1600 rows so far.

worked it out, by the way, can this sync be scheduled somehow so its automated every morning?

No, there is no scheduler in Heidi, and no command line parameter which can be used for exporting.
