can't connect to MySQL through HeidiSQL?

I am able to connect to my remote MySQL server just fine through MySQL Workbench but for some reason on HeidiSQL I can't. I am using the same username / password on both programs with the same IP on both programs. For some reason, however, I am getting a weird IP in the error popup. It does not match the IP I have entered in the hostname box.

Any help would be appreciated.

never miind this thread. Apparently I wasn't actually using the same password. The weirdness was because I had the wrong password.
