Happy May day everybody,

have used mysql only with german tables and are trying to type in some czech content.
have switched the windows language to cz and have a mysql table set to latin2 charset. when i type in czech characters they appear correctly in the fields but some are not saved in the right way (i.e. ě as normal e without hacek). ...what can i do? thanks a lot

Since this character set stuff tends to get complicated, I'd recommend filing a bug report with a complete reproduction recipe.
