I just tried to fetch the comment from a SHOW TABLE STATUS result, like it is done on the "Database" tab. But, then I'd reintroduce an older bug which cuts off the comment on specific tables. I'm afraid that renders this problem unsolvable... |

i`ve just tested the program on the db, that was previously created by phpmyadmin or previous version of heidi the comments were saved and rendered correctly afterwards I`ve recreated some tables with comments attached - and they were rendered incorrectly. so this bug seems to be introduced not very long ago - less then 2 months. hope this will help. Thank you |

It is not a bug in HeidiSQL, it is the server returning a corrupted CREATE TABLE statement. Please test by firing a SHOW CREATE TABLE yourtable |

well now it seems that all is fixed, like it was not such a problem... I don`t understand why
