Correct upgrade procedure

Hi all.

I'm currently running version 5.0.0.3222, and I have downloaded HeidiSQL_5.1_Setup.exe.

What is the proper upgrade procedure?

If I just execute HeidiSQL_5.1_Setup.exe and install it into the same folder as my current installation, will my sessions and other configuration be retained?

Yes, they will, as they live in your registry, not in some file you may have deleted or touched by installing.
