Correct upgrade procedure

Hi all. I'm currently running version 5.0.0.3222, and I have downloaded HeidiSQL_5.1_Setup.exe. What is the proper upgrade procedure? If I just execute HeidiSQL_5.1_Setup.exe and install it into the same folder as my current installation, will my sessions and other configuration be retained? TIA |

Yes, they will, as they live in your registry, not in some file you may have deleted or touched by installing. |
