error connecting to a mysql 3 database

Written by philipz 5 years ago Category: Creating a connection 36 posts since Thu, 08 Mar 07	well when i try to access a mysql 3 database with the latest builds but i get the following error and cant enter heidisql. SQL Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'NAMES utf8' at line 1. I checked and it began in revision 1382 because ansi was removed. The error shows up before the table results appear, so i cant enter into the database at all.
