I hate to complain since HeidiSQL is such a great program but.. Pity there wasnt an easy to use 'duplicae database' command to quickly back-up a database. I know you can use 'export database' but I tried to use this and there seems to be lots of steps: first create database and try and remember what 'character set' and 'colation' are. And then worry for a bit if there is a possibility that 'delete plus insert' might mean to delete data in the existing db. Un-tick the 'skip tables' box etc. |

These are two or three steps, not much for backing up a database. |
