I could not believe were true, however now that I saw today HeidiSQL.com does not allow Cubans to download the software. It is a pity that these programmers are sold for a few cents. |

"these programmers"... who are you referring to? The people who code for HeidiSQL? First, HeidiSQL is FREE and open to EVERYONE IN THE WORLD, provided the country that you live in doesn't block you from downloading it. If you have some sort of beef with your internet service provider, take it up with them. Anse, correct me if I'm wrong, but HeidiSQL isn't blocked on your end for anyone, is it? Also... jaigo, what do you mean "Cubans"? Are you saying that the residents of Cuba cannot download Heidi or all "cubans" all over the world? Please make yourself clear and be careful where you point your blaming finger. |

Your country is blocking it. It's not Heidi. See if you can go here to resolve your issue: http://www.torproject.org/ |

So Cuba is blocked by Google Code or what? |

I think it is, Anse. That's why I tried mirroring the download for him. He hasn't responded whether it worked or not. |

Update: http://unpythonic.blogspot.com/2007/10/you-are-accessing-this-page-from.html I believe Google is doing that to comply with U.S. law (which they have to, since their servers are located in the U.S.) The U.S. has embargoed several countries including Iran: Cuba, North Korea, Syria, Iran, Sudan, and Myanmar/Burma is the current list AFAIK. Iraq used to be on the list, but now that Hussein's been overthrown, Iraq is off the U.S. embargo list. |

Never heard of this embargo. Well, you'll at least get the nightly builds without problem as they live on a german server which is not embargoed. I think I should add an alternative download link on our server for such cases. |

Not a problem. As long as you don't ship a virus with the installer :) |

Just added a mirror link on the download page for the recommended downloads. Should be accessible everywhere in the world. |
