Scrolling mouse

Hi,
I use SQL-Front, you probably know ;)

and one thing I miss in HeidiSQL is that when I scroll with mouse, I would like it to change selected lines and not just scroll the view.

Is that possible?

PS: I read one previous post of some guy ... your work is amazing, keep developingwink

I think the default way of scrolling should be like it is now. But I could probably make Alt+MouseScroll work that way. Ctrl+MouseScroll seems to be reserved by VirtualTree which then scrolls just faster as without Ctrl.

Focus next or previous grid node on Shift+MouseWheel, in all trees. See http://www.heidisql.com/forum.php?t=7269

r3627 does that for all grids and trees. Just not with Alt but with Shift+MouseWheel, as I saw when you release the Alt key, the main menu gets focused and you're out of the grid, which would be annoying. Please try out and give feedback - thanks!

yes, that is exactly what I like ;)

possibly, it could be an option in settings

thanks

An option? Should not be necessairy, as Shift+Mousewheel is not used by something else. Also, I would not want to overcrowd the preferences dialog, which is already the case now.

well, my opinion is that there is just very few options in settings - I mean less than I would expect to fully customize it ... definitely not overcrowded

it is ok with shift, but I would choose it as default setting if it was there ;)

Hm why not. The Shift logic will probably be unknown to most users if it's just there.
