I'm trying to install HeidiSQL on a Win2003 server but I get this message: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access them" I am admin on the machine, I can install other software just fine. Tested Heidi v3.2 and 4.0rc3. Ideas? |

Use FileMon to capture whatever is going on, when the error pops up find the path that is causing the problem; paste it here or on bugs.heidisql.com. |

Turned out that it was Windows blocking the file from executing since it was downloaded. Right click on file -> Properties -> Click Unblock |
