2.data tab
3.insert row
4.dbl click to get focus on field
5.now, you have default space before you start to type value.

Mybe this is what it should be, mybe not.

No, there is no space. There is some inner padding in the cell but that's not some text, just layout. Or could it be your column has a space as the default value for new rows?
