If the field is of type int/autoincrement, it should be grayed/disabled. Now it let you input things. |

Well MySQL allows you to change a auto-inc value. Why restrict that in HeidiSQL? |

Not to open new thema, as this is related. If inserting new row of data, and certain cells are ment to be filled by triggers, it would be nice if that would be realised/showed when row is saved. Now it is not, you have to do refresh manualy. If possible ? |

Well MySQL allows you to change a auto-inc value. Why restrict that in HeidiSQL? Dont want to change that (autoinc of field), just want to be notified by cell (apperance/dissalowance of editing) that it is not ment to fill anything into it. |

Well MySQL allows you to change a auto-inc value. Why restrict that in HeidiSQL? If I read that again. Mybe, but not usable, as far as I know autoinc must be primary/unique key, don't know how changing values would do any good. |

That should be discussed in a MySQL context, not for HeidiSQL. |
