Hi,

May I make a small suggestion: It would be a nice feature to be able to mark a particular database (or server) as a production system. When working with this database (or server), things in the UI would suddenly turn bright red - or any other visual cue to indicate that you're now doing things that affect live and very dangerous systems.

This after very unfortunately and accidentally dropping the company's master database with all the customer records, support contracts, software license keys, invoices, helpdesk tickets, company departments, user accounts, and God knows what else, for almost 100 employees. :)

Thank God there were working backups.

Just a suggestion -
Matt

Well, there is already File > "Select session background color". Did you notice that?

Aha! No, completely missed that one - I was looking all over the Session Manager and didn't look in the menu.

A most convenient and useful feature. Thanks! :)

Apart from colouring live servers in red, I always colour development databases in green. I don't believe in working backups :)

Someone also recommended renaming local databases to for instance "dev_*", to make sure things like that doesn't happen.

I wonder if there is a "best practices" kind of document somewhere? Or, in my case, rather a "lessons learned"... ;)
