view single record vertically

so i have this table of imported data which has 142 columns. there are many occasions when i need to quickly check a value. murphys law says it will always be on the far right so i have to scroll across until i find it. It would be very nice to have a button which would toggle between table view (as present) and record view which shows all fields for the current record in a vertical manner ie

fld2name fld2value
ad nauseum
