Looking at 2 Table structures (Table Editor Windows?) at the same time...

First, as this is my first post on the forums, I want to say thank you for such a great product. I've been using it for passively years but have recently come to rely on it almost daily.

Lately, I've been needing to compare multiple mysql table structures to see how different fields relate and how their keys relate to each other.

Right now, I have to keep clicking the table in the left side, go to the Table Editor tab for that table get the info I need, write it down (or store it in a text editor), then repeat for each table I need to get details on...

Is there a way to have many Table Editor tabs open that I am not seeing? If not, is there a formal way to request the feature?

Thanks for your time

There is a feature request: issue #1663. The reporter wants to have tables being opened in more than one tab. But that won't help you as you want to have them side by side. This is not doable in HeidiSQL's GUI. You can, however, open a second HeidiSQL instance besides the first window, which is pretty nice for comparing other things as well, for example data/result grids.

I like the different tabs thing more actual.
Sorry I did not see this request before opening this post.

Thanks ansgar
