Pasting text to query window

13 sec for about 300.000 lines of text

on some windows text editor 2 sec.

Just a note.

Also editing that text in query window is slow.

The number of lines is not so relevant as the number of characters here. How big are these 300000 lines?

Hehe. Well, that's 45mb of text. You would not normally trying to *edit* such a file, do you? I'm totally aware of the fact that the text editor (SynEdit) consumes much memory on such files, and that this can be quite slow. On the other hand, for exactly that reason, I implemented the "Run file" logic, which can be selected when you open files bigger than 5 MB.
