As a consultant, since 30 years, I ve been working in most mainframe, then I developed within micro context since the beginning.
I follow the progress of mariadb, and heidi sql as a replacement of oracle mysql products.
Although it is not so clear for serious users to cath the progress vector. Heidi seems to be in the good way (sqlserver management is perfectible)
Of course we appreciate the free price of this open source product.
BUT for your activity, it is not realistic and gets a bad odor
when we see DONATE.
In a Pro context, especially now, it seems that:
. You keep this product free without other mentions
. OR you set a price , even low (for example 1 €) for limited functions (for ex 1 release to mysql,1 /sqlserver ,....)
AND Remeber that your product is safe witout no backdoor warranty. That has to be clear now.

Those remarks are just friendly and collaborative

I don't know what you mean. The glory for a such good program available for free. The "donate" as you can see is voluntary. Also would like to thank author who left choice to users that they can do a financial support of the project. So I don't understand of your writing. What's wrong with this? Why you don't like it?

You're probably confused by the fact that the word "free" has two different meanings in English: "free speech" and "free beer". The concept that defines open-source is the former.
