Auto Refresh will not work

Hello,
I would like to use the Auto-refresh functionality on the query tab. IT work on the database tab, but this is not what I need. Here is what I do:
1. Type my query statement
2. Enter the interval
3. Select the Auto-refresh button (making sure it is on)

and nothing happens. This is working for my co-workers, but not me. Any ideas ideas are appreciated.

The query tab does not support auto-refreshing. I always thougt this is too dangerous, as queries can also contain DELETEs and UPDATEs. Is that paranoid?
