Query Tab Labels/Names

I work in a small research team and we all use and love HeidiSQL. A small feature that would add a lot of value (at least for us) would be to enable naming the Query Tabs instead of flipping between Query #2, Query #3, ... , Query #N, which can start to be cumbersome to switch through when building up queries, pulling in older queries for review, having to switch focus/tasks temporarily, etc.

That should have been a link to the old Sourceforge tracker, which is inactive: https://sourceforge.net/p/heidisql/tickets/3582/ If you search for current reports, please look at the bugtracker link from the menu.

So, are any way to naming result query tabs?

ansgar's profile image ansgar posted 2 months ago Permalink

The only way is to save a query tab to some filename, so the tab shows that filename.

I mean the result tab Result # 1 Result # 2 ...

Oh that ticket talks about query tabs.

The result tabs naming is discussed in another thread, where you already posted something.
