Save temporary file

Hi, i have 3G database & want to save it`s compressed backup to extertal drive (NAS or else.. ) But before backup tmporary file was created in same location, where is res fila must be.. In that case i upload 3 gigto NAS, download it back to compres fnd upload compressed file to NAS.
That is slooooow )

It`s be helpful to save temporary sql in local temporary folder.
