Hi all,

when installing HeidySql on Windows 10, I get an error message

ShellExecuteEx failed; Code 8235
A referral was returned from the server.

Does that happen when you *install* HeidiSQL, or when you actually use it?

At what stage of installing (or using) does that exactly happen? (What did you previously click?)

I found the cause of this probleme. ... Windows 10 UAC block non signed package

Yes, that's because I don't have a certificate for code signing yet. I just bought one at certum.eu and am awaiting its activation. Hoping that works with signtool.exe and InnoSetup.

I managed to integrate the certificate with signtool.exe into my automatic build process for HeidiSQL! The latest nightly builds and the nightly installers show the attached dialog when executing here.

Btw, here's my own tutorial for code signing so I won't spent further hours the next time I do that.

Seems the certificate for the latest version wasn't added or lapsed?
