How do you configure a session to mysql using a login parameter like --enable-clearpasword... this under a SSH session

[expired user #9559]'s profile image [expired user #9559] posted 8 years ago in General Permalink

configuring mysql to use windows credentials, but mysql requires client plugin that also needs a string added when login in.

If I ise a ssh session I can add the parameter, but to config a session on Heido there is no section where to add a parameter for login in

Do I need a starup script added with the string?

Thanks

HeidiSQL is a graphical application. All connection parameters are set up in the session manager dialog. There are no command line parameters which cannot be set in the session manager.

Well, there are command line parameters, but these are just complements to some setting in the session manager.

Workbench has the advance tab to check and enable the client side cleartext authentication plugin..

I am using Heidi 8.3.0, and does not provide on the session manager connection settings a way to enable this plugin...

This is the workbench advance options, not existing on Heidi..... Is there something on Heidi or how can it be set the plugin is available on the PC using Heidi, as workbench can connect to remote MySQL server...

but cant figure how to enable the plugin when setting the session settings.

Thanks for your help
