Crash On Start-up

I have Installed this on my new PC, but it dies on startup.

Could you please update to the latest build if that magically fixes the issue?

I have updated the SynEdit code recently so there is a chance that this no longer occurs. Although the relevant code lines are unchanged since several years now. But who knows. Bug reports should always be based on the latest build, not on the latest release.

Magic was apparently involved, although not in the way you suggested.

After I installed some windows updates, and re-booted, it started working .....
