How do I tell what type of database I'm looking at?

I understand HeidiSQL can be used for MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. I've been given access to a database that I can view in HeidiSQL but I don't know how to view the metadata, such as what type of database it is. How do I do that?

The status bar displays an icon with the name of the system, e.g. "MySQL", "MSSQL", or "MariaDB" or whatever. Hovering with the mouse over that icon, you will see a tooltip revealing some details about the server system.
