I'm a new user to HeidiSQL, and I was working on a project for school where I had to create a database locally, but send the logfile of what I did to create the database to the professor so that the professor knows I actually did something. Unfortunately, I was running another program at the same time which locked my computer and I was forced to restart before I could manually save the logfile. The changes to the database were saved, so it is not as if my entire effort was completely wasted.
Is there any way to retrieve that log that was made before I had to restart, or will I just be forced to remake the whole database and save the log again?
thanks
lost logfiles question
The SQL log is stored exclusively in memory, you'll have to redo your efforts. Sorry!
