Drag'n'drop shortcut doesn't work

When I drag'n'drop a SQL file into a query tab, it works like expected (OK). If I have a shortcut on my desktop to the same file, and I drag'n'drop the shortcut into a query tab - it doesn't' work - which I would expect (would be nice).
