Extending/creating, linking new datafiles

Hello, I am currently working on an enterprise solution which requires me moving from Oracle 11g to MariaDB. The movement of the database has been resulted as a challenge due to the drawbacks and the gap between MDB and Oracle. Coming to the question, Q1) How can I create a new .idb file when my first .idb file touches limit ? Q2) If I can create a new .idb file, how can I link the new .idb file to the previous one so that it works normally as a joint memory file.
