table column string is broken

my mysql server character set is UTF-8 but table column comment string is broken when I used the HeidiSQL

I looked into the cause.

this query result is EUC-KR so I can see column comment SHOW CREATE TABLE Table_name;

Using HeidiSQL 10.2, I cannot reproduce that here. See my screenshot.

I'm not sure if I am using the same font as you, at least I did not change it at all.

But even the create code tab shows the right characters.

So, if there's still an issue for you, you need to post more details, and better file it in the bugtracker as a new issue. Please use the latest HeidiSQL build before doing that, and please include server version, and CREATE TABLE code for that table so one can reproduce that.
