Access denied for user

Hi have an open VPN connection when i add my credential to Heidi SQL and try to login I get Access denied for user 'user'@'host' (using password: YES)

But when i run "mysql -v -h vci.cloud -u user-pass dbname" from xamp shell i manage to connect

Probably you need to allow HeidiSQL to communicate through your (Windows) Firewall?
