Data entry with foreign keys

Hi I am researching IDEs and was hoping you can help. I am specifically looking for a data entry tool that will display a searchable drop down with the labels from other tables, where the ids are foreign keys. So I can easily add e.g. products where the categories are stored in a different table, without my having to memorise or manually lookup the id for a particular category that the product is a part of.

Can you help me confirm if i can do this with HeidiSql? If there are any videos or images that demonstrate this, that would be fantastic

The drop downs in HeidiSQL's data grid show the local ids and foreign text column values, but are currently simple dropdowns without any search functionality. See issue #762 for a search tool request, which is probably what you need.
