Copying column from one to other table?

Hello, i want to copy some columns from one table to another table -

So i select some columns in my source-table (right click - copy). And then i want to paste this in my target-table (select column where i want to insert - right click - paste columns) - but all it does is inserting a empty column.

Why is that? Am i doing here something wrong? (or is it not possible to copy a column from one to another table?)

You mean a column from the table designer, or from a data grid?

In the table designer, you can rightclick one or more columns and copy/paste them in the same view of another table:

Your video shows you are clicking the wrong menu item - click the "copy selected columns" as in my screenshot above.
