Default limit for SQL queries - revamped

Hi all and a happy new year.

Currently it seems that the row limit for queries can be set within the prefs to some number.

Would it be possible to add an (maybe configurable) pull-down menu to the data view screen letting the user choose on how many rows he/she wants to limit the current and all subsequent queries.

Would make it much easier, as usually f.e. i am fine with the standard 1000 cap, but sometimes need to get the full set (for export). Instead of clicking all the time on show all
