everything is fine in the portable version, BUT I installed it with the installer and had to rewrite the library from MariaDB

So where did you install HeidiSQL? C:\Program Files\HeidiSQL\ ?

And is there a libmariadb.dll in that folder?

even if, when installing MariaDB, I allow her to install HeidiSQL, the error will be the same

Your last screens show a successful connection - what did you do right before that?

Hi, I did as @Verolomstvo:

  • Installed MariaDB 10.5.8 without Heidisql
  • I copied libmariadb.dll from lib's folder from Maria DB installation
  • I overwrote libmariadb.dll in HeidiSQL folder.

It worked :)

It might be easier to download libmariadb.dll straight but doing it this way you ensure it is the correct version

Installing MariaDB might also have installed a VC runtime library to your Windows directcory, solving the error message.
