Slow movement across rows and columns

Slow movement through rows and columns in the table data viewer if there are columns of type text and the like. If the text field is filled with content, then when moving through the rows and columns it is very slow. Probably related to the fact that the program is trying to find similar occurrences in other fields

Did you testwise disable that same-text-background setting?

See Tools > Preferences > Grid formatting > Same text background, set to "None"

I experienced the same slowness, but actually when I have a huge result in the grid.
