Option for default query tab height?

I've gone through the preferences and I can't seem to find a setting for the default query tab height. It's a single line and I never use a single line. I'd prefer to set it to seven lines by default.

The tabs.ini file in the AppData folder lists the pixel height though I can't find any other reference. I'm just mostly tired of having to constantly increase the size for the query field.

Yes, I am experiencing the same, and I am going to fix that.

The editor has a default height of 100px, and if the user resizes it, that new value should be restored the next time. And yes, the second place where the height of additional query tabs height is stored is the "EditorHeight" line in tabs.ini.

The height is set to a minimum when you decrease the height of the main window to something which forces the editor to get smaller. I will have to implement the opposite case as well, when you enlargen the main window again.

There is an issue in the tracker already, so let's proceed in issue #1113

I am going to fix that.

I really wish more developers had that positive attitude! Thank you!

I don't suppose you could please let me know when it hits a nightly build?

Also unrelated question: are you able to get crash data? The program crashes almost daily though it's still worlds better than anything else I've ever used.

I receive crash data through the upload function in the crash window. I fixed and worked around some of them recently. But if you say it crashes daily, then it's probably something specific to your environment? Perhaps you should post some of them here, at least the top line of the callstack: Description

It just crashes and I went through the options to see if it's set to send the data...unfortunately I have no idea. Where do I start with that?

Feedback in #1113 says my change solves the editor-height-issue. Please update to the latest build to try.

I really appreciate the reply! Five lines seems to be the default which is okay, better than one though I use HeidiSQL to determine how to compose certain queries; would it be possible to create a line option without much effort?

By the way stable 11.2 (11.2.0.6213) froze during the update around 7MB though did finish downloading and installing correctly. I was simply watching and waiting so no user interaction. It's not a huge download so I don't mind though I thought I'd mention it.
