BSOD when moving HeidiSQL to another monitor

I use a multi-monitor setup at work (a laptop screen and two monitors) and I've just discovered that when I move HeidiSQL to a different monitor I get a BSOD. It's so far the only program where such thing happens.

How does one even start to diagnose such a problem?

You did not probably override HeidiSQL's default DPI-awareness on monitors with different DPI settings?

Should I do it or not do it? (I'll check tomorrow what the settings are).

Hehe, no, you shouldn't, as that causes various issues. And officially, HeidiSQL is not DPI-aware, but I got quite a few reports from users which did that.

Is there some detailed entry about the crash in the Windows event log?

You nailed it! It was enabled, an after disabling it Windows no longer crashes. And HeidiSQL does not even look different.

Event log only shows that the system wasn't shut down properly. There's probably a minidump somewhere but I don't have the energy for that right now. 😫

By the way, I've started using HeidiSQL for PosgreSQL in my new job and it works pretty well. Thank you for the hard work.
