Second query window changes size

When I first open HeidiSQL, the query window is quite large (a good size), but when I create further query tabs, they all open with a shrunken window and enlarged results area (see attachments). Any idea how I can get all tabs to open with the same size as the first?

Sounds like the report in this thread. I already enhanced that logic slightly. The latest build uses the memo height of the current query tab if there is one.

Click Help > "Check for updates", then click "Download and install build xyz".
